This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to the public website operated by Shadow Mountain V, LLC and, where incorporated by reference, to product services under a customer agreement. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning in our Terms of Service.
1. Purpose
We provide software for professional healthcare operations. This AUP protects users, residents, customers, and the integrity and availability of our systems.
2. Prohibited activities
You may not, and may not allow others to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Submit resident names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, Social Security numbers, or other direct identifiers through marketing forms, or use product features in ways they are not designed to accept
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, data, or networks
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without our prior written authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, APIs, or underlying infrastructure (including denial-of-service activity)
- Use automated scraping that degrades service, bypasses access controls, or ignores robots rules we publish
- Transmit malware, spam, phishing, or abusive content
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when requesting a demo or support
- Reverse engineer product software except where non-waivable law allows
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to others except as permitted in a customer agreement
- Circumvent rate limits, identifier filters, integrity checks, authentication, or billing controls
3. Product-specific expectations
Customer environments must be used only for legitimate organizational purposes by authorized users. Users must follow facility policy and applicable law. Do not attempt to bypass identifier filters, scoring integrity controls, or audit mechanisms. You are responsible for content and configurations under your control.
4. Credentials and accounts
Keep credentials confidential. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that appear compromised or that violate this AUP.
5. Vulnerability reporting
Report suspected security issues to support@shadowmountain.ai. Give us ninety (90) days to investigate and remediate before public disclosure, unless a shorter period is required by law or a coordinated-disclosure program we publish later. We do not operate a paid bounty. Good-faith research that stays within this AUP and does not access other customers’ data will not, by itself, be treated as a violation.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, remove or disable content or access, suspend or terminate Site access, and cooperate with law enforcement. We are not obligated to monitor all use but may do so for security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance. For paid product services, the customer agreement controls if it provides a different process.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
